China Nuclear Power (601985pennspinfisher3.SH) Announcementpennspinfisher3, China Nuclear Tianwan 2-million-kilowatt tidal flat photovoltaic demonstration project (the "Demonstration Project") officially started construction on May 19, 2024, with a total investment of approximately 9.88 billion yuan. The project supports the construction of a 200,000 kilowatt/400,000 kilowatt hour energy storage project. The project owner company is CNNC Jiangsu New Energy Co., Ltd., which indirectly holds 90% equity in the project company through its holding subsidiaries CNNC Huineng Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Nuclear Power Co., Ltd.

It is reported that the design operating life of the demonstration project is 25 years, and the annual power generation will be approximately 2.234 billion kilowatt-hours after it is officially put into operation. After the project is fully completed, it will be coupled with Jiangsu Tianwan Nuclear Power Base controlled by the company to form a large clean energy base with a total installed capacity of more than 10 million kilowatts.
